Kalikot jeep accident: Deceased and injured identified

The identities of the people who died and those who sustained injures in the Bolero jeep accident that occurred in Kalikot have been established.

According to the District Police Office, Kalikot, six died on the spot and 13 others sustained critical injuries when the jeep, Karnali Pradesh 001 Ja 56, heading to Thirpu of Ward 9 from Neta (Ward 3) of Palata Rural Municipality-6, Kalikot plunged into the Kaprekhola at Khin at around 2:50 pm today.

The injured have now been airlifted to Karnali Province Hospital, Surkhet for treatment by a Nepali Army helicopter.
