The mortal remains of former Speaker Daman Nath Dhungana has been kept at Sano Gaucharan in Gyaneshwar for condolences.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba, Baburam Bhattarai, ministers, leaders of various political parties, relatives and well-wishers have paid tributes to Dhungana.
The body of Dhungana is being cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat with state honors following the condolences.

Dhungana, who suffered from a liver-related ailment passed away in the course of treatment at Frontline Hospital in Old Baneshwar on Sunday. He was 83.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held in Baluwatar on Monday decided to cremate Dhungana with state honors.
The government has given a public holiday today in honor of Dhungana.
