A pedestrian has died after being hit by a gas bullet at Fisling in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-3 of Chitwan on Monday afternoon.
The Indian gas bullet, NL 01 A 0280, heading to Banepa from India struck the pedestrian of around 50 to 55 years on Prithvi Highway at 1 pm today, informed DSP Bhesh Raj Rijal of District Police Office, Chitwan.
The traffic movement was disrupted by the irate locals who refused to allow the police administration to remove the dead body.
The identity of the deceased, however, is yet to be ascertained.
The police said, a negotiation with the locals is underway to bring the situation into normalcy.
