The pedestrian, who died after being hit by a gas bullet at Fisling in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-3, Chitwan on Monday afternoon has been identified as 45-year-old Sita Praja of Gandaki Rural Municipality-6, Bhumli, Gorkha.
Tul Bahadur Gurung, ward chair of Gandaki-6, informed that Sita, who was mentally retarded, had an accident while going to her son's house in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-3, Chitwan. She died on the spot.
The Indian gas bullet, NL 01 A 0280, heading to Banepa from India struck Praja on Prithvi Highway at 1 pm today, according to DSP Bhesh Raj Rijal of District Police Office, Chitwan.
