Medical professional Durga Prasain has been arrested yet again from his residence in Bhaktapur on Tuesday morning.
A team of Central Investigation of Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested Prasai from his residence, CIB Chief AIG Deepak Thapa told Nepalkhabar. Preparations are underway to present him at the Cyber Bureau.
AIG Thapa said that Prasain has been apprehended for investigation into the case related to cybercrime. Similarly, he will be investigated on cases including forged documents, Thapa added.
"Investigations were underway on various cases of Prasain," said Thapa, "Yesterday's incident forced us to arrest him right away."
Prasain have been alleged to have committed cybercrimes against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Earlier, controversial medical professional Prasain had been arrested on June 20. The cybercrime case filed against Prasain by one Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker is sub-judice at the Kathmandu District Court.
He was released on a 100,000-bail in this case.
