Two people have died and seven others sustained injuries in a jeep accident in Dadeldhura district on Tuesday afternoon.
Two women were killed when a jeep heading to Parshuram Municipality from Daiji in Kanchanpur met with an accident at Lipna on the Daiji-Jogbudha road section in Parshuram Municipality-9.
According to the Area Police Office, Jogbudha, the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 4579) coming from Mahendranagar to Saleta fell some 30 meters off the road.
Four of the injured, who are in critical condition, have been taken to Dhangadhi for treatment and details of the incident are awaited, according to the police.
The identities of the deceased and the injured are yet to be ascertained.
