Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai, who was produced before Kathmandu District Court, has been remanded to five days in custody.
District Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari extended Prasai's remand by five days allowing the Cyber Bureau for investigation by keeping him in custody, informed SP Deepak Raj Awasti, the spokesperson of the Bureau.
Durga Prasai, who was arrested on the charges of cybercrime, was produced before the District Court by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Kathmandu for extension of judicial custody today.
Prasai was arrested by a team of CIB on Tuesday for purportedly circulating malicious and defamatory contents against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on social media.
