Security personnel have clashed with cooperative victims at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The cooperative victims hit the streets demanding the return of their deposits.
Organized by the National Campaign for Protection of Cooperative Depositors, the demonstrators took out the rallies from various places including Sohrakhutte, Chabahil, Gatthaghar, Pulchowk before they converged into into a corner meeting at Maitighar.
The clash erupted after the police tried to stop demonstrators coming to Maitighar from Thapathali area.
