Three youths dead, another injured in Morang bike collision

Three youths have died and another sustained critical injuries in a motorcycle collision in Morang district.

Three people were killed when two high-speed motorcycles collided head-on in Urlabari-3, Mangalbare of Morang district on Thursday evening, the District Police Office, Morang said.

The deceased are identified as 33-year-old Deepak Dhimal of Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-5, Kishor Gurung, 28, of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-4, Dhamkuwa and Amit Limbu, 26, of Belbari Municipality-8, DSP Bed Joshi of DPO, Morang, said.

"The accident occurred when a high-speed motorcycle, Pradesh 1-02-050 Pa 8406, collided head-on with another motorcycle, Pradesh 1-02-043 Pa 9226, coming from the opposite direction," DSP Joshi told Nepalkhabar, " Bishnu Dhimal, 38, of Pathari Shaneshchare-5, who sustained critical injuries in the accident, is being treated at B and C Hospital in Jhapa. His condition is critical."

Dhimal breathed his last at Arniko Hospital, Urlabari, Gurung at Madan Bhandari Hospital, Mangalbare and Amrit passed away at B and C Hospital, Birtamod.

Police said they are investigating the case.
