The trophy of Nepal Premier League (NPL) has been unveiled from the premises of Dharahara in Kathmandu on Monday.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli made public the trophy of the NPL from the premises of Dharahara amidst a program this morning.
The office-bearers of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the players of eight cricket teams among other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Unveiling the trophy, Prime Minister Oli expressed belief that the NPL will help boost the tourism development of the country.
Similarly, this trophy, studded with a stone from Kalapatthar, the Base Camp of Mt Everest, will spread awareness about mountain protection, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka said.
The NPL is being held from November 30 to December 21. Eight teams are participating in the tournament.
