Editor-in-Chief of Nepalkhabar, Purna Basnet, and Executive Director Jivan Basnet have been bereaved of their father.
Father Surya Bahadur Basnet, 91, passed away in his house in Bhaktapur on Saturday morning.
Nonagenarian Basnet had been suffering from pneumonia for the last few weeks.
He is survived by his wife, six sons, and a daughter.
Funeral rites for the late Basnet were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
