Gopal Sigdel transferred as Secretary at Urban Development Ministry

Gopal Sigdel has been transferred to the post of secretary at the Ministry of Urban Development.

Sigdel was transferred to the post of secretary after outgoing Secretary Maniram Gelal retired from his post on the ground of 58-year service limit.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday decided to transfer Sigdel to the Ministry of Urban Development. The officials at the Ministry welcomed Sigdel amidst a ceremony before he assumed his office as the secretary.  

Earlier, Sigdel was the secretary at the Water and Energy Commission.
