Nepal has registered a historic win against Afghanistan in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup held in UAE on Tuesday.
Nepal clinched 1 wicket win over Afghanistan with 51 balls remaining while it was chasing the 124-run target.
To defeat Afghanistan, Naren Saud made the highest 26 runs followed by captain Hemant Dhami with 22 runs while Arjun Kumal contributed 21 runs. Similarly, Abhisekh Tiwari hit 13 runs.
In reply, AM Ghazanfar and Khatir Stanikzai claimed 3 wickets each while Abdul Aziz and Mahboob Khan grabbed 1 wicket each for Afghanistan.

Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Afghanistan notched up 123 runs losing all wickets in 35.4 overs.
Despite Faisal Shinozada's significant 52-run score, Afghanistan could not Nepal Nepal and was bowled out for paltry 123 runs. Shinozada hit 4 fours and 2 sixes off 67 balls. Similarly, Khatir Stanikzai made 15 runs followed by Barkat Ibrahimzai, AM Ghazanfar and Naseer Khan Maroofkhil with 12, 11 and 10 runs, respectively.
To pile pressure on the opponent, Unish Thakuri and Santosh Yadav grabbed 3 wickets each while Abhisekh Tiwari and Hemant Dhami took 2 wickets each for Nepal.
With the win, Nepal signs off from the Asia Cup with a triumphant victory.
Nepal had suffered defeats in their previous two Group B matches, losing to Sri Lanka by 55 runs and to Bangladesh by 5 wickets.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, lost all its Group B matches.
