Prishtina Dialogue forges new ties between Kosovo and South Asia

A groundbreaking event, the Prishtina Dialogue: Where the Balkans Meet South Asia, took place on November 25, 2024.

Organized by the Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA), Nepal, in partnership with the Prishtina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS) and the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the dialogue aimed to strengthen relations between Kosovo and South Asian nations.

The event brought together high-level officials, policymakers, and experts from both regions. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, culture, and education.

"This dialogue marks a significant milestone in fostering deeper ties between Kosovo and South Asia," said Sunil KC, Founder of AIDIA, "By bridging geographical and cultural divides, we aim to create a more interconnected and prosperous world."

The event was attended by representatives from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, along with key figures from Kosovo's government and civil society.
