Two people died in a jeep accident in Jajarkot on Wednesday night. A Bolero jeep met with an accident at Nuwagaun in Bheri Municipality-10, under the Mid-Hill Highway at around 8 pm on Wednesday.
According to the District Police Office, Jajarkot, two youths died when a Bolero jeep, Karnali Province 301023Cha 4719, which was leaving Karki Village in Bheri Municipality for Kudu in the same municipality, met with an accident.
Information Officer of the District Police Office, Police Inspector Hariram Dangi, informed that the jeep driver, 24-year-old Manoj KC of Kailali and 23-year-old Mithum Hamal of Jumla, died in the accident.
"Hamal, KC and 23-year-old Kamal Chaudhary, who sustained critical injuries in the accident, were taken to the District Hospital, Jajarkot for treatment," Dangi told Nepalkhabar, "Doctors at the hospital have declared Hamal and KC dead while Chaudhary is undergoing treatment."
Dangi said that Chaudhary was referred to Nepalgunj Medical College for further treatment after receiving general treatment at the district hospital.
The police said that the jeep fell some 700 feet off the road after it went out of control, according to the police.
They are workers working on the Mid-Hill Highway in Syauli Bazaar, Bheri Municipality-7.
