US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, has arrived on a two-day official visit to Nepal.
Lu arrived in Nepal after visiting Sri Lanka and India.
According to the US Department of State (DoS), during the visit, the US diplomat will meet with the top leaders including CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
During the meeting with the Nepali leaders, he will hold discussions on environmental conservation including cultural heritages, women empowerment and sustainable development as well as the vivid aspects of the Nepal-US relations, the sources have said.
