Valley records coldest temperature since 2081 BS as mercury dips to 3.4 degrees

The Kathmandu Valley has experienced the coldest day today since the start of 2081 BS.

According to Binu Maharjan, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature was recorded at 3.4 degrees Celsius at 5.45 am.

This is the coldest temperature ever recorded in the Kathmandu Valley since the start of 2081 BS. It was recorded at 3.9 degrees yesterday.

The minimum temperature might plunge further at 8:45 am.

The minimum temperature is recorded at 8:45 am and the maximum at 5.45 pm.

Meteorologists have said that the temperature might decrease further during the winter season. The winter season started on December 1.

The following were the details of the temperatur across the country recorded on Thursday by the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
