Two people have died in a motorcycle accident that occurred in Morang district.
The deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Umesh Marik and his son Ashik Marik, 22, of Katahari Rural Municipality-1, Morang, the District Police Office, Morang said.
They died when the motorcycle, Province 1-04-002 Pa 1901, they were riding struck against a bridge above a cannel along the Ghinaghat-Biratchowk at Jhorahat, according to the police.
Critically injured Umesh and Ashik died in the course of treatment at Birat Nursing Home.
