Former mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, PL Singh, has passed away. He was 87.
Singh passed away at his residence in Chaksibari, Thamel this morning, according to family sources.
The octogenarian Singh had been suffering from an ulcer for a long time. Singh, a former minister, had worked as a key aide of Ganeshman Singh to establish democracy in the country.
Singh became the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City after winning the local elections held in 2049 BS.
