Nepal has defeated Pakistan in the ACC Women's U-19 Asia Cup for the first time thanks to Puja Mahato's all-round performance.
Nepal clinched a 6-wicket win on Pakistan in the Women's U-19 Asia Cup held at the Kuala International Cricket Ground in Malaysia on Monday.
Pakistan scored 104 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Chasing a target of 105 runs, Nepal achieved it in 19 overs for the loss of 4 wickets.

For Nepal, Puja Mahato scored 47, Sana Praveen made 10 runs, Savitri Dhami scored 8, and Sony Pakhrin contributed 13 runs. Jyotsnika Marasini was dismissed for a duck.
Pakistan's Fatima Khan and Mahnur Zeb took 1 wicket each. The remaining 3 bowlers failed to claim Nepal's wickets.
Earlier, for Pakistan, who batted first, Komal Khan scored 38, Fizza Fiyyaz 0, Ravail Farhan 13, Areesha Ansari 1, Maham Anees 29, and Fatima Khan 6 runs.
On the bowling front, Nepal took 5 wickets of Pakistan on the bowling front. For Nepal, Puja Mahato took 2 wickets, Rachana Chaudhary, Riya Sharma and Seemana KC took 1 wicket each.
