Sudurpaschim Royals and Janakpur Bolts are locking their horns for the title of the first edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) title today (Saturday).
The match will start at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur at 12:15 pm.
Sudurpaschim and Janakpur were considered title contenders after both teams won four consecutive matches at the beginning of the NPL. Finally, these two teams are facing each other for the title.
Thirty-first matches have been completed from the league stage of the NPL to the qualifiers. The NPL title is being decided in the 32nd match.
Sudurpaschim had suffered only one defeat in the league stage, while Janakpur had lost two matches. Sudurpaschim has lost only one match so far. However, Janakpur has lost three matches, two in the league stage and one in the qualifier.
Both teams were defeated by Chitwan. Janakpur has lost the remaining two matches to Sudurpaschim.
