The Ministry of External Affairs of India has confirmed that the Prime Minister of Nepal, Balendra Shah, has been invited to visit India.
Responding to questions at a regular press conference, spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that the Nepal PM has been invited.
Jaiswal was also asked about the visit of a special envoy from Nepal to India. In response, he said that he was not informed about it.
When asked whether India has extended an invitation to the Prime Minister of Nepal, Jaiswal said, “Yes, the Nepal PM has been invited to visit India.”
