Over 3,000 examinees have passed the third phase of the Korean Langue Test under the Employment Permit System (EPS).
A total of 26,000 examinees appeared in the language test conducted for the manufacturing sector in South Korea. Out of those who appeared in the language test, 3,126 cleared the test, the EPS section has said.
The language test been held on December 17. According to the EPS section, the language test had been taken in three different phases due to the high number of Korean aspirants. The three phases of exams were conducted in the last 10 months. The first and second phases of language tests had been conducted earlier.
The schedule for the skill test of those who have passed the language test will be unveiled this week, said Kamal Raj Shrestha, the information officer at the EPS section.
A total of 163,635 Korean job aspirants had submitted applications. Of them, 16,400 candidates will be selected for Korean jobs.
