Two persons died in a road accident at Aandhikhola of Anbukhaireni Rural Municipality-1 in Tanahu district today.
The deceased have been identified as truck driver Bhesh Raj Parajuli, 30, of Udayapur and his helper Bijaya Bishwokarma, 28, of Rautahat, according to Police Inspector at District Police Office, Tanahu, Munendra Thapa.
The accident took place when the truck, A2-0300-1KH 2448, heading toward Dumre from Anbukhaireni hit a jeep (Bagmati Province 01-001 Ya 1659) coming from the opposite direction. The truck had fallen down from the bridge.
However, four passengers in the jeep were safe, said the police.
