Azerbaijani plane crashes in Aktau

An Azerbaijani Airlines has crashed in the Kazakhstani city of Aktau, the Associated Press reported.

The Embraer 190 aircraft crashed while making an emergency landing at an airport in Aktau. The number of people on board has not yet been confirmed. The plane was flying to Russia from Baku, according to international news agencies. 

Fourteen passengers survived while dozens were feared dead after a plane crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan, reports said on Wednesday, citing Kazakh Emergencies Ministry.

Local media outlets reported that the plane was carrying 67 people including five crew members.
