The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley has dropped further this morning.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the minimum temperature in the Valley fell to 4.2 degrees Celsius as measured at 8:45 am.
Earlier, the minimum temperature in the Valley was 4.5 degrees Celsius as measured at 5:45 this morning. The minimum temperature in the Valley was 5.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
According to meteorologists, if the sky remains clear at night, the minimum temperature in the morning decreases, and if it is cloudy, it increases.
On the contrary, if the sky is clear in the afternoon, the maximum temperature increases because it is sunny, and if it is cloudy, it decreases, i.e. the cold increases.
The minimum temperature is measured every day at 8:45 in the morning and the maximum temperature is measured at 5:45 in the evening.
