Excavator-hit kills 11-year-old girl in Nagarjun

A person has died after being hit by an excavator in Kathmandu on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as an 11-year-old Anusha Tamang, the daughter of Pancha Kumari Tamang of Nagarjun Municipality-6, the police said.

The minor girl died after being hit by an excavator, Ba 2 Ka 6088, on the road near While Gumba.

Tamang, who sustained critical injuries, breathed her last in the course of treatment at TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, the police said.  

The police said they are investigating the case after taking the excavator diver under control.
