There is influence of the Westerly wind in the country at present and light snowfall is forecast in some places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces today.
Similarly, light rainfall is predicted at a few places of the two provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
The weather will be partly cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province and mainly fair in the rest of the country. It will be generally cloudy in Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province, Lumbini Province and Gandaki Province, and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the regions today.
The Division has advised adopting precaution as fog and haze is likely to occur in many places of the Tarai and the Kathmandu Valley in the morning, affecting the daily life of the people, health, transport and civil aviation.
