A Nepali national has died in a road accident in the European country of Malta.
The deceased has been identified as Gauri Kumari Baral, a resident of Bardibas Municipality-3 in Mahottari district.
She had gone to Malta in December 2022 for employment.
NRNA Malta President Remlal Khanal informed that she sustained critical injuries in a road accident on January 5 and succumbed to injuries in the course of treatment on Saturday morning.
Khanal further said that NRNA Malta is facilitating the repatriation of the body to Nepal in consultation with the family of the deceased.
