Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the state oil monopoly, has increased the prices of petroleum products.
According to the NOC, the price of petrol increased by Rs 2 and that of diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 per liter.
With the price hike, petrol will now cost Rs 162.50 per liter (first category), Rs 164 (second category), and Rs 165 per liter (third category). Earlier, the price of petrol was Rs 160.50, 162 and 163 per liter, in the first, second, and third category, respectively.
The prices of petroleum products went up as per the new price-list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (NOC). The newly adjusted price will take effect from Thursday, according to the decision of the executive board meeting of the NOC.
