Gold price surges by Rs 1,200 per tola

The increase in the price of gold in the international market has its direct impact in the local market in Nepal.

The price of gold is 2,695 US dollar per ounce in the international market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,200 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today. It is being traded at Rs 156,600 per tola today against Rs 155,400 on Wednesday.

Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs 1,880 per tola today. It was Rs 1,830 per tola on Wednesday.
