Indian nat'l struck to death over minor dispute in Rupandehi

An Indian national has died after being struck with a brick by a tractor driver in Rupandeshi district.

The deceased is Nishthuri Kewat, 40, of Gorakhpur, India, informed DSP Suraj Karki of District Police Office, Rupandehi.

Both the tractor diver and Kewat are the laborers of Kamana Brick Factory at Siyari Rural Municipality-7, Hiragunj, Rupandehi.

"Kewat was working at a brick factory with his wife, two sons and two daughters," DSP Karki told Nepalkhabar, "tractor driver struck him to death over a minor dispute."

Police said they are investigating the case by taking 20-year-old Krishna Kewat of Siyari Rural Municipality-6 under control.

The clash between Nishthuri and Krisha took place in an inebriated condition, according to an eyewitness.
