PM Oli taken ill; meetings scheduled for today postponed

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has fallen ill.

The meetings and other programs scheduled for Wednesday have been postponed due to his illness, according to a Baluwatar source.

"Prime Minister Oli is having rest due to a problem in his throat," the source told Nepalkhabar, "He will probably not participate in any of today’s programs."

Oli, who is also the UML chairman, attended the party’s secretariat meeting on Tuesday evening.

Oli, who is used to working late at night, is said to have fallen ill due to cold and other reasons.
