Nepali Congress (NC) Kavre has recommended the expulsion of three leaders including two central members from the party on the charge of betrayal in the recently held general election.

A meeting of the NC Kavre district committee on Saturday decided to recommend the action to the Central Disciplinary Committee of the party.

A statement issued by NC Kavre President Tirtha Lama stated that action was recommended against central members Madhu Prasad Acharya and Ganesh Lama, and Kaver 2 Regional President Mahesh Kharel for betraying the party in the election.

Similarly, NC Kavre committee sought a clarification from Bagmati Province Assembly member Kanchan Chandra Bade and the Banepa Municipal Committee as to why the member of the House of Representatives got 3,155 votes less than the candidate for the Province Assembly from Banepa Municipality.
