The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has significantly raised the prices of petroleum products.
According to a notice issued by the NOC, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 2 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 4 per liter. Similarly, the price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 6 per liter for domestic use and by US$ 43 per kiloliter for international aviation fuel.
Now, the price of petrol for the third category including the Kathmandu Valley will be Rs 167 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will be Rs 160 per liter, according to the notice issued by the Corporation.
The increased prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel will be effective from midnight on Friday, the NOC has said.
