A person has died and five others sustained injuries in a vehicle accident in Sindhuli, said Inspector Sunil Chaurasiya of the District Police Office, Sindhuli.
A vehicle, Bagmati Province 01-030 Cha 9642, coming to Kathmandu from Jhapa, fell some 400 meters off the BP Highway at Golanjor Rural Municipality-5 in Sindhuli at around 5:45 am this morning.
Police Inspector Chaurasia said that 28-year-old Sushant Nepali, a resident of Gaurishankar, Dolakha, died on the spot.
"The injured include 3 men and 2 women. The condition of one of the injured is critical," Inspector Chaurasia, who is currently at the incident site, told Nepalkhabar, "All the injured are being ferried to the District Hospital, Sindhuli for treatment."
The Police have said that the accident occurred after the speeding vehicle went out of control.
