Former Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun 'Pasang' has been entrusted with a 'special responsibility' of the CPN (Maoist Center).
According to an internal circular of the party, Pun was assigned as the in-charge of the Economic Production Mechanism.
However, his rank in the party for this responsibility has yet to be revealed. According to CPN (Maoist Center) leaders, Pasang's rank will be equivalent to that of the vice chairman of the party.
Pasang has assumed the party responsibility 22 months after he retired as the Vice President and nine years after he refrained from doing politics.
