Anjila Tumbapo Subba, the national women's football team captain, has arrived in Kathmandu from Greece to participate in the 'International Women's Championship 2025'.
Tumbapo landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on a flight of Air Arabia at 1 pm.
She had made a debut in A Division Women’s football club of Greece this month. She has been associated with Nees Atromitou for the 2024-25 season.
Similarly, striker Sabitra Bhandari Samba who is currently playing professional football match in France will arrive on Monday at 9 am by a flight of Air India.
Nepali footballer Rekha Paudel, who is currently in Saudi Arabia, is scheduled to arrive in Nepal this Saturday at 4 p.m.
ANFA is organizing the 'International Women's Championship 2025' at Dasharath Stadium from February 7 to 26. Four teams, including Nepal, will compete in the championship.
