11-year-old boy killed in cold blood by his friends in Dailekh

An 11-year-old boy has been killed by his own friends in Karnali's hilly district of Dailekh.

The deceased has been identified as 11-year-old Khemraj Dashaundi, the son of Shyam Bahadur Dashaundi of Dullu Municipality-5.

According to the District Police Office, Dailekh, the body of Khemraj, who went missing on February 7, was found buried after murder by his own friends on Saturday.

Khemraj was found buried after murder by his own friends and buried in a bamboo grove near a house, the police said.

His parents had reported to the Area Police Office, on February 8 after he went missing on February 7.

The police have arrested two minor boys in connection with the murder of Khemraj. The police said they have admitted to the killing of Khemraj.

A preliminary investigation of the police shows that Khemraj was murdered over a dispute related to a stolen gold ornament.

A team of police reached the incident site and exhumed the body from a pit on February 15.

"During the investigation, the body was found buried on the bank of a stream near a bamboo grove," Police Inspector Lal Bahadur Sunar of DPO, Dailekh said, "The missing minor boy has been found buried after murder. Two minor boys have been arrested in connection with the murder."

Police Inspector Sunar said they are investigating the case after taking them on a remand from Dailekh district.
