Light rain and snowfall likely in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki

Currently, the country is experiencing the influence of westerly winds along with local winds.

The weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country including that of Koshi Province and mainly fair in other parts of the country this morning.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division reports that some places in the Terai region are currently experiencing fog.

There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places in the hilly regions of the remaining provinces, according to the bulletin issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division at 6:00 AM on.

There is also a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, and in one or two places of the remaining provinces.

"Due to the impact of rain and snowfall, there may be partial effects on daily life, health, road and air transportation, so it is requested to take necessary measures and precautions to avoid any potential impacts," stated the bulletin issued by the division.

The Division urges everyone to take precautions against potential disruptions from rain and snowfall, which may affect daily life, health, and transportation.
