Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has instructed party leaders and cadres to prepare for the upcoming elections with a focus on securing more seats than in the previous polls, acknowledging that a majority win may be challenging.

Speaking at the inauguration of a training and orientation program for House of Representatives regional presidents and regional training department heads in Bhairahawa on Monday, Deuba underscored the need for increased electoral preparedness.

"We must prepare for the elections with the goal of winning more seats than before," Deuba stated.

He also addressed internal party matters, urging members to resolve disagreements through dialogue. "There may be differences of opinion among us. There may be unresolved issues. All matters should be dealt with through conversation," he said, "We can move our party forward by making it vibrant and alive."

Deuba expressed confidence that unity among party leaders would enhance the party's appeal both domestically and internationally. He believes the ongoing training program will contribute to achieving this goal. "This will further increase the attraction to our party, both within and outside the country. I am confident that the training will work toward this," Deuba added.
