Nepal has defeated Namibia by 1 wicket in the third match of the Women's T20 Quadrangular Series underway in the latter's home ground, Uganda.
Chasing the 76-run target set by Uganda at the Entebbe Cricket Oval in Entebbe, Nepal reached it in 19.5 overs losing 9 wickets.
Sana Praveen topped the score with 17 runs including 1 four off 35 deliveries followed by Puja Mahato with 16 runs while Rubina Chhetry contributed 10 runs to ensure victory for Nepal.
On the bowling side, Janet Mbabazi claimed 3 wickets giving away 18 runs while Sarah Walaza grabbed 2 wickets for Uganda.

Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Uganda notched up 75 runs losing 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Immaculate Nakisuuyi topped the score with 22 runs including three fours followed by Stephani Nampiina with 14 runs while Malisa Ariokot contributed 11 runs. The other batters could not achieve double-digit runs.
On the bowling side, Nepal's captain Indu Barma grabbed 2 wickets giving away 8 runs while Puja Mahato took 3 wickets.
Nepal will play against Hong Kong tomorrow (March 10).
The match will begin at the Entebbe Cricket Oval in Entebbe, Uganda at 4:45 pm (according to Nepali time).
