In pics: UML holds special program in Kathmandu

Celebrates success of garnering highest number of votes under PR system

The CPN (UML) held a special program to mark its success of garnering the highest number of votes under the proportional representative (PR) category in the November 20 elections, in Kathmandu, today.

Newly elected UML lawmakers were feted at the program in the presence of party Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

The UML honored its Dhankuta, Arghakhanchi and Parbat district chairs at the program since the party won all seats against the ruling coalition in these districts.

Similarly, Oli also honored Solukhumbu district chair for making possible UML's victory in the district possible for the first time after 2046 BS.

Top UML leaders, newly elected lawmakers and hundreds of workers of fraternal organizations participated in today's special program.
