The hearing on the writ petitions filed by Kulman Ghising and newly appointed Hitendra Dev Shakya has concluded, with an interim order expected in a while.
A joint bench of Justices of the Supreme Court, Kumar Chudal and Nityananda Pandey, heard on the writ petitions filed by Kulman and Hitendra Dev, continuously for three days.
Kulman has filed a writ petition seeking a stay order on the government's decision arguing that he was removed from the post of the Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority with an ill-intent four months before the expiry of his term.
The government on March 24 had removed Kulman as the Managing Director of the NEA and appointed Hitendra Dev in his place.
On the other hand, Hitendra has submitted a writ arguing that Kulman's case should not be resolved without first finalizing his pending writ filed four years ago.
Following the pleading on the writs by the government attorneys and some advocates on behalf of Hitendra Dev, Kulman's advocates had presented their counter-pleadings.
