The ruling CPN (UML) has decided to observe its 76th establishment day on April 22.
A UML Secretariat meeting convened on Monday took a decision to this effect and also honor seven leaders as the communist crusaders on the occasion, said Deputy General Secretary Pradeeep Gwayali.
Those to be honored include Lal Bahadur Bishwakarma of Kanchanpur, Ratna Sharma of Jajarkot, Sobharam Basnet of Dang, Banaspati Devkota of Gorkha, Shanta Manabi of Kathmandu, Satya Narayan Mandal of Saptari and Hari Charan Shiwakoti of Jhapa.
Similarly, the memoirs of some communist leaders will also be released on the occasion, said Gyawali.
