Light to moderate rain in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki

The weather today will remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi Province along with the hilly regions of the country and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country.

This is due to the impact of local winds coupled with westerly winds. As a result, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and at one or two places of the rest of the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. There is also a possibility of light snowfall in a few places of the high hilly and mountainous region of the country.

Later tonight, the weather will continue to remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi Province along with the hilly regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country. Furthermore, light rain or thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi Province and at one or two places of Gandaki and Karnali provinces. There are chances of light snowfall at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
