Gold price sets a new record, hits Rs 197,900 per tola

 The rise in the price of gold in the international market has had a direct impact in the domestic market as well.

The gold price has continuously increased for the past few days. Today, the price of gold has increased by Rs 6,900 per tola (11.66 grams) and set a new record.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, gold is being traded at Rs 197,900 per tola today against Rs 191,000 on Monday.

Similarly, the price of silver has also climbed by Rs 10 per tola. The Federation has determined the price of silver at Rs 1,970 per tola today.

Gold is being traded at 3,479 US dollars per ounce in the international market today.
