Newly appointed Education Minister Raghuji Pant is taking the oath of office and secrecy today.
Pant was appointed as the Minister for Education, Science and Technology on Wednesday.
President Ramchandra Paudel will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Pant amidst a ceremony at Shital Niwas at 4 pm, a source at Shital Niwas told Nepalkhabar.
The post of the Education Ministry was lying vacant after former Education Minister Bidya Bhattarai resigned from her post. Pant is the lawmaker elected through the proportional representation system.
He was a sharp critic of KP Oli during his previous tenure as the prime minister.
An influential leader of the Madhav Nepal camp, Pant had stood against the party split.
