Pakistan has claimed that it has "credible intelligence" suggesting an imminent Indian military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours.
"Pakistan has credible intelligence that India intends carrying out military action against Pakistan in the next 24-36 hours on the pretext of baseless and concocted allegations of involvement in the Pahalgam incident," Attatullah Tarar said in a video footage.
He further said that Pakistan has been the victim of terrorism itself and truly understands the pain of this scourge. We have always condemned it in all its forms and manifestations anywhere in the world," he added.
"Pakistan reiterates that any such military adventurism by India would be responded to assuredly and decisively. The international community must remain alive to the reality that the onus of escalatory spiral and its ensuring consequences shall squarely lie with India," Tarar said.

Earlier, Pakistan defense minister Khawaja Asif had claimed that India's "incursion was imminent" and Islamabad was on high alert.
This comes as India is preparing for decisive action against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, which continues to threaten peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Pahalgam attack, which took place on April 22, left 26 people – mostly tourists, including one Nepali national – brutally murdered at the Baisaran meadow around 2 PM. (with inputs from TOI)
