Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has said that the Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN (UML) should form a government together for the sake of political stability in the country.

The lawmaker elected from Jhapa constituency 3 said so after taking the oath of parliamentarian at the Parliament building in New Baneshwor.

"The NC and the UML should jointly run the government for the next 5 years if political stability is to be given to the country," he said, adding, "If so happens and the two largest powers unite, the development of the country will gain steam."

He said that RPP was silent on joining the government as they were not in a hurry.
